The following seven courses can be used to satisfy the prerequisite foundation requirements in the eleven core areas. WSU offers these courses online for MBA candidates to complete prior to admission for students who lack foundation course work.

- Principles of Finance
- Principles of Marketing
- Proficiency in Statistics Required.
All MBA candidates must complete the eleven core courses (three credits each); as well as a two-credit oral exam:
