The application process is a two-step process:
Step 1 - Fill out the online application.
Step 2 - Upload all supplemental materials, described below, with your online application. It may be helpful to have these materials on-hand as you begin your application.
Your transcripts should show the completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of at least 3.0 overall, or in your final 60 semester credits.
While unofficial transcripts can be uploaded to your online application, official transcripts from all institutions you have attended are still required and should be mailed to the following address:
Carson College of Business Office of Graduate Programs
570 Todd Hall
Pullman, WA 99164-4750
While you can report your unofficial GMAT score in your online application, you must also have an official copy of your GMAT score sent to WSU Vancouver. The GMAT score must not be more than five years old as of your program start date. Successful applicants typically score 550 or above on the GMAT exam.
The GMAT can be waived with a previously completed graduate or professional degree, or demonstration of at least seven years of managerial experience in positions that require supervisory decision-making and leadership.
Email us for more information regarding GMAT waivers.
Resume, Statement of Purpose and 3 letters of recommendation
These items can all be uploaded and initiated through your online application.
Your resume should be current and reflect your professional and academic experiences.
The statement of purpose is a 500-word statement articulating your motivation for pursuing an MBA degree, your goals, and why the Carson College of Business is particularly well-suited to your scholarly objectives.
Regarding letters of recommendation, we accept both professional and academic references.

MBA foundation requirements
Foundation requirements include statistics, accounting, economics, marketing, business law, finance, and operations. These are usually fulfilled by a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. You are welcome to email or fax (360-546-9037) a copy of your transcript for review so we can assess which foundations you may have already completed. Foundation courses do not need to be completed prior to admission and can be taken through WSU Vancouver or various online options.
